Pulled my lower leg muscle! Ouch!

I don't know how, but in the minutiae of my everyday routine, I pulled the muscle on the back of my lower leg. Not while I was moving, not while I was working as a tour guide, but just in living my everyday life. I feel like that's my body's way of telling me that I'm aging or that I might be pushing myself to hard. A fellow co-worker of mine was telling me that it all goes downhill after 20. How reassuring... thanks for the sentiment.

Chris is going through an rapid downward spiral financially and though I try to be there for him the best I can, I know that he is probably the only one who can pull himself out and that it will probably be quite some time. Damn you failing economy.

I fear graduation. It means real life. Luckily I'm taking a year off to figure things out and basically take the opportunity to work in a bunch of different fields.

I've been talking with the good sister for a few days now via webcam. It actually feels like she hasn't left at all. She seems pretty happy so far, which is good. Let's just hope she finds some employment soon. I might even fly out to see her during Spring Break, it'll be a nice and fairly cheap act of spontaneity.

Living with mother has been settling. At first, we fought a LOT, but we've come to adapt to one another and things are... fairly good. I think the key is going to school 5 out of 7 days of the week. Hahaha, no no, she's great.

That's all for now. Peace, love and all that good stuff.

Sincerely,
Stay-at-Home Gay

No way, I've also got a similarly unexplained calf strain! Admittedly, mine occurred whilst I was quite drunk, but the evening basically consisted of a) sitting down and drinking, and b) standing up and drinking, so I'm not really sure how it happened!

Are you still thinking of going to grad school? I can highly recommend it as a means of avoiding entrance to the real world ;)

Don't you just hate it! I'm trying to wait for it to heal up so I can start going out for runs and long walks again, but it's been a week, and it's still not feeling 100%.

I'm still thinking of grad school, hehehe! *wink*
